Today, higher education is fast-developing, especially after China entered WTO, and internationalization of the educational industry, university want retain and develop, that it must take the effective measure in some respects such as thought and team building. The person are the basic strength of creating value, so retaining staff and giving play to enthusiasm and creativity of teachers are the key to the succeeds for university. How does the university arouse teachers' enthusiasm and energy? How retain staff, attract talent, make sure "bring in to full play each one's ability"? These are questions that a lot of universities are probing into.In the contest for the talent, the salary system is a compulsory part which indicates the value of the personnel in the straightest way. The competition for talent, said from salary aspect that, how is uses the salary release lever, the attraction, detains with the drive outstanding talented person, causes display which their ability can be full and continue. Complete reward system is the most useful tool that attracts, motivates, develops and keeps talented people. Presently the traditional salary system of our country's college teachers cannot adapt itself to the social development and needs to be adjusted and improved. Compensation incentive is the center content in the system of incentive restriction for knowledge workers. With more and more recognition of academics long dated behavior, the proportion of deferred compensation will increase incessantly.College deferred compensation is referred as to the agreement reached between teachers and college, and the agreement says college will postpone the pay of the teacher. The goal of deferred compensation is to align teacher with the strategy of the college by profit relationship. The law character of deferred compensation is the defined right to gain profit, also referred as to the deferred benefit for the teachers from college, and it is a possible profit. Teachers need to finish all tasks assigned by college ,and need to work for the college long enough. That way teachers' passion for working and loyalty to college can be improved by deferred compensationThere is no best model but the most suitable one. The flexible welfare plan that this text recommends perfects the salary structure of the enterprise, opens up the new way of the salary encourages, satisfies different demands for welfare of different academic, changes single, rigid state of the original welfare system, improves the appeal to academic of welfare system, strengthens the encouragement of the welfare system.
