| Campus is the main place for teenagers to live and learn.Harmonious and safe campus environment is an important foundation for the healthy growth of teenagers.In recent years,the frequent outbreaks of bullying in primary and secondary schools have destroyed the normal teaching order of schools and caused great harm to the physical and mental health of primary and secondary school students.The severity and harmfulness of campus bullying have aroused widespread concern in society.Taking five rural junior middle schools in L County of Jiangsu Province as an example,this study classifies campus bullying into four types: violence,attitude,network and speech.The present situation of campus bullying in rural junior middle schools is analyzed by combining quantitative and qualitative methods.The study used SPSS 23.0 to analyze the data and found that: the time of bullying in rural junior high school campus is concentrated in the break time,the place of campus bullying is mainly concentrated in the remote corners of the campus;the type of bullying that rural junior high school students suffer more frequently is verbal bullying and attitude bullying,more than 70% of students can be treated reasonably and timely after being bullied and seek help from parents and teachers;the types of bullying that rural junior middle school students implement more frequently are attitudinal bullying and verbal bullying.Rural junior high school students’ emotional state,personality type,family type,mother’s upbringing style,parents’ educational level and occupation type have significant differences in the situation of bullying on campus.The factors with significant differences are included in Logistic binary regression analysis.The results show that: individual factors such as gender,grade,emotional state and personality type have significant influence on bullying.Boys,low-grade and recently depressed students are more vulnerable to bullying.Boys and low-grade students are more vulnerable to bullying.Family factors--mothers with warm emotions are less likely to suffer bullying.Family factors such as family type,left-behind situation,father’s upbringing style and parents’ education level did not enter the regression equation,but through the difference test and interview analysis,it was found that family factors played a certain role in the bullying of students.Through data analysis and interviews with students,teachers and parents,it is concluded that campus bullying in rural junior middle schools is mainly affected by the government,society,schools,teachers,parents and students themselves.First,the related laws and policies of campus bullying are imperfect and lack of specific laws;second,the supervision of network media is not in place;third,the anti-campus bullying mechanism in schools is not perfect and supporting measures are taken imperfect;Fourth,the quality of rural teachers needs to be strengthened and the anti-campus bullying awareness of rural teachers is not strong;Fifth,parents are lack of awareness of campus bullying and their educational concepts are backward;Sixth,the rural junior middle school students’ self-psychological development is immature and their self-control ability is poor.The prevention and control of bullying in rural junior middle schools should start from the levels of government,society,schools,teachers,parents and students.The government and society should improve laws and regulations to create a good social environment;the school should build anti-bullying mechanism and facilities to strengthen communication between home and school;and teachers should improve personal accomplishment and pay attention to class;parents should change the concept of education and strengthen the communication with children;students should correctly understand bullying,improve awareness of prevention. |
