When entering the junior middle school,freshmen in grade one have to face many problems: getting familiar with the new campus,learning to abide by the code of conduct and the campus system of junior middle school,getting to know the new teachers and classmates,experiencing the learning atmosphere of junior middle school and mastering the new learning methods.Therefore,school adaptation is the primary problem for freshmen in junior middle school face when they step into junior middle school.It has an important impact on their study and life,and it is also the psychological distress that school psychological educators need to pay attention to.Through literature research,it is found that there are many studies on school adaptation at home and abroad,but most of the research objects are only limited to college students,there are few students on freshmen in junior one,and the research methods are mainly general group psychological counseling.There are a few research results involving home-school association,but relatively simple cage.This study focused on exploring the intervention effect of home-school association based group psychological counseling on school adaptation of freshmen in junior one by means of special lectures,homework assignment,parental participative counseling.And compares it with the general school adaptation group auxiliary,analyzes the difference and the peculiarity.I mainly did the following three aspects of work:First,do the literature research.Based on the literature review and previous studies,the author examined the status of school adaptation at home and abroad,summarized the operational definition and dimensions of school adaptation: environmental adaptation,learning adaptation,role adaptation and interpersonal communication adaptation.According to the definition of school adaptation,the basic framework of school adaptation group counseling plan for freshmen in junior middle school is designed.Second,the junior middle school adapts the present situation investigation.In this study,The Questionnaire of students’ life in school—subscale of school behavior compiled by Wudian Wu was as a survey tool to investigate the school adaptation of freshmen in a junior middle school in Haiyan,Jiaxing.And 30 people with poor adaptability were screened out through the current investigation results,namely the research objects of the next stage.Based on the investigation results,the general school adaptation group counseling and the home-school association based school adaptation group counseling were further improved.Third,do the junior middle school adaptation intervention research.Specifically,I focus on two different groups of psychological counseling intervention on the impact of school adaptation of freshmen.The screened 30 people were divided into three groups: the Control Group returned to the class,without any adaptive group auxiliary treatment;the Experimental Group 1 participated in the general adaptive group activities,and the Experimental Group 2 participated in the group activities based on the parent interaction.The members of the three groups were then tested after group psychological counseling.In this way,through the average score and dimensional comparison of the front and rear measurement scales within and between groups,the auxiliary effect in the situation of home-school linkage and that general adaptive group was analyzed,as well as the differences and characteristics between the groups.The date results are shown as follows:1.There are certain difficulties in adapting to the current situation of schools among freshmen in grade one,and the degree of different dimensions is not the same,which is a problem that school mental health educators need to pay attention to;2.The adaptive auxiliary designed by this research has an certain timeliness.Compared with the adaptation speed of people in the natural state,it is faster and obvious difference;3.Compared with the general adaptive counseling,the parent-involved group counseling effect designed in this study is more obvious,but the significance is not high.
