A Case Study On The Intervention Of Poor Single Mother's Plight

In the new era of social development,the number of poor single mothers is increasing and their lives are facing certain difficulties.This not only affects the realization of the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way,but also is not conducive to the healthy growth of minors.Therefore,it is of vital importance to carry out social work in relevant areas.This study focuses on the case work intervention of poor single mothers' living difficulties,improves the living conditions of poor single mothers,solves their psychological,emotional,spiritual and other problems,and reasonably sets up the case intervention mode,providing useful reference for the development of social work in related areas.At the same time,through this study,we can provide basis for the poor single mothers to get rid of their living difficulties.We can have an in-depth understanding of the forms of case intervention,sum up the experience of case intervention from the examples,evaluate the success of case intervention from the analysis of the results of case intervention,and then analyze the ideas,methods and language expressions of case intervention,so as to enhance the trust of the case owners to social workers.Then we can take solving practical problems as the starting point,proceed step by step,and reach the goals of case work.In the specific operation process,we mainly use literature review method to summarize domestic and foreign research methods and theories on the intervention of poverty-stricken single-parent mothers' life predicament cases,and use theoretical analysis to deeply understand the relevant theories and guide practical work.Then,through actual investigation,we study the specific situation of the case-holders,including the causes of poverty,the problems to be solved,etc.,and then according to their tools.Physical needs should be selected as a case intervention model,and correct methods should be used to help them "get rid of poverty and become rich" in life,spirit and psychology.Through the study of this subject,we can conclude that the main difficulties faced by the case-holder include four aspects: lack of stable economic sources,difficulties in survival;lack of confidence in life,negative attitude;larger problems of children's growth,which bring some troubles to them;worrying health conditions,which need to be solved urgently.Based on this,we use psychosocial treatment model,task-centered model and crisis intervention model to carry out case intervention to help them solve practical problems.According to the evaluation results of case intervention,after six weeks of social work,the case owner has restored self-confidence in life,improved the trust of social workers,solved the work problems,cooperated with teachers to carry out children's education work,no longer worried,for their own illness,has eliminated the original fear,and actively participated in community activities.Thus,this case work intervention is more successful,the mode selection is reasonable,the goal formulation is feasible,and it is worth promoting.
