| With the rapid transformation of China into a modern society,the social structure and the rapid political and economic changes have a huge impact on society,the traditional family structure model and marriage relationship in China have been impacted,behind the increasing divorce rate,accompanied by the increase of many single-parent families,which for low-income divorced single mothers themselves,after experiencing the emotional trauma caused by family breakup and divorce,they also need to Faced with the pressure from life and society,single mothers are prone to suffer psychological blows,manifesting themselves as depressed,always feeling lonely,helpless and anxious,and easily fall into psychological difficulties,which not only affects their own health,but also affects the living conditions of family members,and is not conducive to the effective functioning of the family,and urgently needs social level The intervention of professional casework methods can help alleviate the psychological difficulties faced by low-income divorced single mothers.In this paper,we first understand the psychological difficulties of low-income divorced single mothers in community A of N city through interviews and filling out questionnaires to increase our understanding of this group.In the course of the intervention,we taught her to learn how to de-escalate her emotions,change her previous misconceptions,and learn parent-child communication skills,which helped her to alleviate her negative emotions such as anxiety and sadness,and to regulate her parent-child tensions.At the same time,she was encouraged to actively participate in community activities,explore her potential strengths,expand her social support network,improve her low self-esteem and loneliness,and enhance her self-confidence and enthusiasm for life and her ability to cope with future difficulties.Finally,we summarize the intervention process of the case of urban low-income divorced single mothers’ psychological difficulties,reflect on the shortcomings and areas that need attention in the intervention work,and provide reference for better social work intervention services in the future,as well as provide some ideas for the research on the psychological difficulties of urban low-income divorced single mothers. |
