Research On Social Work Intervention Of Community Voluntary Service For The Elderly

With the coming of the aging age of our country,many problems are waiting for us to face.Urban community elderly is a special group,they have a fixed income,rich spiritual needs,all of which put forward higher requirements for social workers to improve the well-being of the elderly community.At present,the family pattern in China is still dominated by "nuclear family",and there will be more and more "pure old family" and aging communities."community pension" is also the choice of many elderly people,so it is particularly important to enhance the social support of the elderly,especially the support of neighbors in the community.Community volunteering is a great way to link people in the community to support each other.On the other hand,participation in volunteer activities by the elderly can exercise and promote physical health,and indirectly improve life happiness,physical and mental health,and ultimately reduce medical costs.It not only saves social resources but also indirectly improves the quality of life of the elderly.In this paper,the workers used the method of group work to carry out the research of old people's voluntary activity "recycling activities" in community b.the author firstly analyzed the general situation and characteristics of community B,and then analyzed the current voluntary activities in the community.From the perspectives of advantage,under the guidance of theory to guide the elderly in the form of positive,healthy and full of enthusiasm to participate in community affairs,and select "old stuff recycling activity" as elderly volunteer group activity category,to the elderly welfare and community service for the development of effective integration,as well as the elderly volunteers to participate in community service "old stuff recycling activity" fully discussed.
