From An Advantageous Perspective Elderly Migrant Birds Participate In Community Volunteering Practical Exploration Of Service Activities

With the arrival of the tide of aging in China,the proportion of the elderly population has increased,and the participation of the elderly in voluntary service activities has become the focus of social attention.More and more elderly people are active in the society and actively involved in social public welfare projects,giving full play to their spare heat and role,and making their own contributions.As a new group,the behavior of elderly migrant birds in participating in social welfare and community volunteer service activities has also attracted the attention of the society and the government.However,in addition to paying attention to the potential of this group,it is more important to understand the problems encountered by elderly migrant birds in participating in volunteer service activities and find solutions.In addition,there are some gaps in the research on elderly migrant birds’ participation in volunteer service activities,which needs further research.In this regard,this paper explores the practice of elderly migrant birds participating in community volunteer service activities.From the perspective of social work advantages,three research methods are adopted,namely literature analysis,interview and observation.The study takes THE B Park volunteer service station in Sanya city as an example.According to the data collected by the author in practical work and interviews,the activity theory and productive aging theory are used to analyze the behavior and contribution of migrant elderly people in volunteer service activities.It is expected to analyze the main content of elderly migrant birds’ participation in volunteer service activities,their advantages and potential at the individual,group and community levels,the path of participating in volunteer service activities,the problems or obstacles they face,and put forward corresponding solutions or suggestions.From the perspective of advantages,this paper discusses the individual and group advantages of elderly migratory birds in participating in community volunteer service activities,as well as the potential and resources in the community.Social work is a self-help major,which can help the elderly migrant birds better cope with the current obstacles encountered in participating in volunteer service activities and find solutions.From the professional perspective of social work,we can better analyze the advantages,potential and resources of the elderly migrant birds,help the elderly migrant birds sort out the problems,analyze and discuss the corresponding solutions and suggestions.Finally,it is hoped that the proposed solutions or suggestions can provide reference for relevant government departments and social organizations in the elderly migrant birds participating in community volunteer service activities,and also provide some reference for subsequent related research.
