As rapid economic development of China,increasing international influence,international talent exchange and resource sharing is increasingly frequent.In this context,the domestic students have to overseas well-known universities,foreign exchange visits have become the current theme.With the deepening of reform and opening up and the increase of household income,it becomes a popular trend to study abroad,and the demand of consumers to choose foreign universities is more and more diversified and personalized.Under the upsurge of study abroad,a large number of consulting institutions appear,the competition for study abroad is becoming more and more fierce,how to obtain competitive advantage is an urgent problem facing the advisory body of studying abroad.Human resource management is the key factor to win the competition in the overseas consulting industry,and it is the most important of its development strategy.At present,there are still many problems in the human resource management of the consulting organization of studying abroad,which restricts the sustainable and healthy development of the consulting institutions.Based on this,this article follows the “problem,problem analysis,and problem solving” approach,using literature analysis,questionnaire surveys,and case method,and in accordance with the order of “status,problems,causes,and countermeasures,” to discuss about the related issues of institutional human resources management.Firstly,based on relevant theories of human resource management and the current status of historical research,combined with the current background of the times,field surveys were conducted by representatives from study abroad consulting agencies in Wuhan,and the present situation of human resources management in the current overseas study consulting institutions was analyzed.Secondly,based on specific investigations and studies,the main problems existing in the human resources management of the current overseas study consultants has been analyzed concretely,that is,the lack of strategic planning for modern human resources management,the lack of effective personnel incentives,the lack of knowledge and training,and the poor professionalism.And according to the existing problems to find the reasons are that lack of understanding of leaders or decision makers,rapid expansion of demand for study abroad consulting services,loss of employees’ career planning leads to brain drain,disregard for human capital investment,and low employee motivation.Thirdly,on the basis of summarizing the characteristics of the human resources management practices of the three overseas study consulting institutions,this article will propose five ways to improve the human resources management of the overseas study consulting organizations.That is: to strengthen the corporate culture construction and formulate loose policies based on changing ideas and concepts,to formulate human resources management policies,to build a scientific human resources management system,to establish effective incentive mechanisms,and to strengthen the accumulation of human capital.
