POE(Prediction-Observation-Explanation)teaching strategy is a kind of teaching strategy that teachers take the lead in classroom teaching activities and gradually guide students to construct knowledge actively through Prediction,observation and explanation.In recent years,POE teaching strategies have been widely used at home and abroad.POE teaching strategies are mainly related to students' conceptual change,learning interest,learning motivation,learning ability and scientific inquiry ability,etc,to study students' learning effectiveness.All these studies reflect the universality and extensiveness of POE teaching strategies in domestic and foreign researches.However,the research on student subjectivity based on POE teaching strategy has not been involved yet.Therefore,this study takes this as the entry point to apply POE teaching strategy in high school biology teaching to cultivate students' subjectivity.It can not only provide a reference for the teaching of front-line biology teachers,but also facilitate the smooth development of biology teachers' teaching work and the cultivation of students' "subject consciousness",which has certain practical value.Based on the current situation of high school students' subjectivity in biology classroom teaching,this paper analyzes the POE teaching strategies and optimizes the teaching design.With the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and experimental demonstration,two parallel classes of grade two in Guiyang No.37 middle school were used as research objects to carry out teaching practice.POE teaching was used in the experimental class and conventional teaching was used in the control class.By comparing POE teaching with conventional teaching,this paper explores the influence of POE teaching strategies on six dimensions of students' subjectivity and biological performance in high school biology classroom teaching,and analyzes the research results.The research results are as follows:(1)POE teaching strategy teaching can gradually improve the students' subjectivity from the students' behavior habits,and can help to improve the students' classroom subjectivity reflects not high situation.(2)POE teaching strategy can promote the improvement of high school students' biological performance to a large extent.(3)POE teaching strategy not only has a positive effect on students,but also can help promote the professional development of teachers.In the end,Suggestions were made on the existing problems in this study,and the prospect of the research on POE teaching strategies in biology teaching was discussed.
