Investigation And Research On The Current Situation Of Implementation Of The Educational Tourism In Primary School

Educational tourism is a kind of out-of-school education activity which is organized and arranged by educational department and the local schools.It combines the students' study with their travel experience and lets students have the collective tour and accommodation during the whole process.It is an innovative educational form which connects the school education with the out-of-school education.It is an important part of the education and an effective way to educate students through comprehensive practice.Educational tourism is a crucial way to promote the basic education reform and development and it is of great significance to promote the quality education.In 2016,the Ministry of Education and the other 11 departments put forward the Opinions on Promoting Educational Tourism for Primary and Secondary School Students and integrated the educational tourism into the primary and secondary school educational program.In order to investigate the the current situation of the implementation of educational tourism,this thesis adopted the literature research method,questionnaire method and interview method.The research subjects including the primary school students of the fourth-grade,fifth-grade and sixth-grade and the teachers were from three primary schools in Kangbashi city.The author chose one class from each of these three grades and the research mainly focused on three aspects of the educational tourism: the places,the schools and the students.The research results reveal some problems.The activities of the educational tourism places are insufficient and the teachers lack the professional quality.The school system is imperfect and schools do not pay enough attention to the educational tourism.Students are not fully involved in this activity.The reasons mainly lie in the following several points.Government regulation and publicity are insufficient;educational tourism places do not know enough about students and do not have enough trainingfor teachers;schools do not pay enough attention to the importance of the educational tourism;students do not know enough about the educational tourism.At last,the thesis provides some suggestions for the educational tourism in order to improve its better and more smooth development.Government should strength supervision and enhance publicity;the educational tourism places should pay more attention to supervise the activities and give teachers more professional training;schools ought to improve the educational tourism system and pay more attention to the educational tourism.Schools should provide transparent access to the finance of the educational tourism.the organization and management of the educational tourism ought to be diversified;students are supposed to take ownership and improve their learning ability in the course of the educational tourism.
