| The new curriculum reform puts forward significant requirements for the cultivation of students’ "core quality","independent learning ability" and "inquiry ability",etc.,and the physics teaching process should also greatly transform from pure exam-oriented education to inquiry-based cooperative learning.In line with the effective localization of STEAM teaching concept into physics teaching,I mainly study the following three aspects: 1.Research on the development of STEAM education theory;2.Educational theoretical research on IYPT in senior high school in China;3.Initially explore the education mode of IYPT experimental exploration based on the concept of STEAM course,and form a certain theoretical system.After the new curriculum reform,STEAM education concept was introduced in China,trying to reform and innovate the traditional education from the perspective of education concept.To this end,we actively explored and tried to use the STEAM course concept in line with the requirements of the new curriculum standard,combined with the experimental project of the international young physicists championship(IYPT),to design a reasonable course link,so as to provide reference for developing the schoolbased course of physics extension teaching.In this paper,firstly,from the perspective of theoretical research,the connotation of STEAM education and the domestic and foreign development situation are briefly sorted out by referring to a large number of literatures and books,and the development situation and research characteristics of IYPT experimental exploration at home and abroad are studied.Then through the questionnaire survey to understand the situation of first-line physical experiment education,it is found that the current experimental teaching in high school can not well cultivate students’ innovative ability and ability to solve practical problems comprehensively.Based on the study of STEAM course theory,the author integrated the STEAM course design into the practice teaching of IYPT.Combined with the actual situation of our school,the author extended the course with the help of physics competition,organized students to carry out group exploration,and completed the result identification and evaluation.At last,the teaching effect is tested by means of physics score analysis and questionnaire.Through practice,I preliminarily completed the course design and evaluation design of IYPT experimental inquiry based on STEAM course theory,and provided a set of feasible course models for further school-based courses.The research process also found that the course has a certain positive impact on students,mainly reflected in: first,it helps to improve students’ interest in learning physics,and has a positive impact on physics learning results;Second,it is helpful to improve students’ ability to solve practical problems.Thirdly,it helps to promote and develop students’ innovative thinking.Through the research of this paper,it is hoped that it can provide beneficial inspiration for cultivating students’ comprehensive innovation ability in physics teaching. |
