Since the reform and opening up,research on the relationship between teachers and students have made a great progress.From the existent research sources,most scholars have paid attention to use analysis and periodic retrospect in research content,question or thesis based on stats.As the information visualization technology is applied in educational research,this thesis tries to use co-word visualization and knowledge mapping to analyse visually on research hot-spot,combined with the curriculum reform setting to retrospect,reflection and prospect about research on the relationship between teachers and students over the past forty years.This thesis has four parts.The first one is epigraph,including propounded problem,the meaning and methodology of research,literature review.To reinforce the theory of relationship between teachers and students,resolve the problem and enrich the research,this thesis discourses and critiques about related literature at home and abroad from 1979 to now.The second one is based on co-word and visualize analysis to comb research hot-spots and periodic development on therelationship between teachers and students over the past forty years.These results show that hot issues focus on four levels in view of teachers and students,reflection and reformation,teaching and study essence from retrospect,development,fortification to ground breaking period.The third one is to reveal changing characters in the research development since the reform and opening up and rethink the exposed problems.There are four characters: the study worth is from teaching evaluation to educational influences;the study content is adding interaction to roles between teachers and students;the study point of view is from single subject to manifold subjects or theories;the study methodology is entering into specific culture settings based on theory explanation.At the same time,there are some issues to be focal,such as theory rebuilt in cultural settings,the relationship between theory and practice,the turning point in theme segmenting and the school educational worth.The fourth one is aimed to prospect forward that strengthen the research in specific settings,rebuild the study community with different group,apply various methodologies and perspectives to innovative research,dig out the influential worth from school hidden curriculum.
