The lack of sex education in primary schools has been an unresolved problem in our country.The frequent cases of child sexual assault in recent years reflect the serious lack of child sex education in China under 14 years of age,especially at the primary level,and also reflect the weak awareness of sex education in schools and parents.According to Freud’s three stages of the development of children’s libido,pupils are in the incubation period of sexual desire,With the rapid development of society,especially the improvement of living conditions and the change of social environment,the gonads of contemporary children awaken earlier than in the past.With the emergence of children’s sexual doubts ahead of time,in the process of children’s active learning and the socialization of sexual consciousness,it has become an important task for primary education to prevent the harmful social atmosphere and bad information from infringing on pupils’ physical and mental health,to cultivate children’s correct sexual concepts and improve children’s awareness of prevention is an urgent problem to be solved in primary education.The basic idea of this study is to investigate and interview the implementation of sex education in several primary schools in Chengdu,in order to understand the process and effect of the implementation of sex education,and to explore the main problems and root causes,and put forward strategies to improve sex education in primary schools.The survey shows that,as a fairly developed city,sex education in primary schools in Chengdu has not been carried out in a balanced way.Among the primary schools surveyed,the two schools surveyed through questionnaires and interviews conducted sex education for students according to the specified time and content.while the other two primary schools interviewed by two teachers respectively adopted a multi-subject infiltration method to popularize sex knowledge among students.The study found that the main problems in primary school sex education are:the time of sex education is difficult to fully guarantee;the content of sex education is relatively outdated;the implementation of sex education is not rich and flexible.The analysis shows that the implementation of sex education in primary schools should berooted in teachers,schools,society and the government.Specifically,teachers lack the comprehensive quality of sex education;schools do not have a sound mechanism for the implementation of sex education;and society and the government fail to provide a good environment for the implementation of sex education in primary schools.To this end,based on the problems and root causes of the implementation of primary school sex education,combined with the social situation of our country and the physical and mental condition of primary school students,and drawing on the useful experience of the world’s child sex education model,the main measures to improve the implementation of primary school sex education are: first,full Give play to the leading role of schools in sex education;second,vigorously strengthen family support for school sex education;third,government departments should give more effective policy support to primary school sex education;fourth,create school-friendly education Good social atmosphere.The combination of various measures will actively promote the healthy development of primary school sex education in China and provide more adequate and effective guarantee for the smooth growth of primary school students.
