An Implementary Research On The Education Of Sexual Health To Senior Girl Students In Primary Schools

Because of their earlier physiological development and the increasing social pressure, heavier burden on study, enlarging living experience as well as the changing ideation, plenty of physiological and psychological problems ranging from study, life, social communication to self-awareness would appear to senior girl students in primary schools. Were some of the problems not be timely solved, there would be negative influence on their healthy growth.This thesis starts from the connotation of sexual health education and analyses the meanings of early stage of adolescence, sexual health education. The author put forward a number of theories as well as practical requirements on the implementation of sexual health education to senior primary schoolgirls and carried out a survey on the most prominent problems in their early stage of adolescence by researching on the content and the approaches of education, with the teachers, students and their guardians from Shanghai Waigaoqiao Bonded Area Primary School and two other primary schools as the informants. According to the perplexity and features in senior schoolgirl's early stage of adolescence, the author finds the actualizing methods that could be approved by schools, guardians, teachers as well as the society. In practice, sexual health education includes the education about physiology, psychology, sexual morality and personality, aiming at helping them to be equipped with the methods and capacity to control their feelings as well as develop themselves, and helping them to establish positive self-concept, harmonious interpersonal relationship as well as to cultivate good volition and characters; in the meantime, schoolgirls will be guided to form correct attitude to their opposite sex so as to better protect themselves.The integrated personality of schoolgirl develops and matures along with the formation of their healthy sexual values. To cultivate girl's integrated personality, education on her early stage of adolescence should be properly put into practice. Therefore, closely combined with education on morality, intellectuality, aesthetics and labor, sexual health education is a significant part of school quality-oriented education. Closely related to girl's sexual morality, outlooks of marriage and family, it is an education counting for much during the whole life of the student.
