| The teaching of historical materials is the characteristic of history and the teaching method that can train students’ historical thinking,has been emphasized by specialists,scholars and front-line teachers.Historical teaching is a teaching method in which teachers guide students to deal with relevant historical materials,so that students can independently obtain historical information from materials,explore historical issues,and cultivate related emotions,attitudes and values in the process of history teaching.Based on the theories of history and history teaching,and combined with specific instructional design,this paper discusses how to use historical materials in history teaching,how to cultivate students’ ability to use historical knowledge to solve historical problems,and how to develop historical material teaching in order to set up students’ correct historical values and apply the knowledge of history into practice.This paper explores the design and application of historical material teaching in senior high school from five aspects.(a)Explaining the background and research significance of the topic,discussing the current researches both at home and abroad,and pointing out the research methods and innovation of this paper.(b)From a theoretical point of view,this paper explains the source and classification of historical materials,and specifically combines the lesson "Opium War" as an example.The sources of historical materials are divided into the ones in textbooks and outside textbooks.The text,The Opium War,is used to illustrate the former one,while the access to the extracurricular historical materials of The Opium War,is used to analyze the latter.In terms of the classification of historical materials,it includes literal historical data,picture historical data,video historical data,etc.(c)Carrying out the instructional design of The Opium War,which is divided into instructional design preparation and main instructional design,combining teaching theory with practice.(d)Discussing the application strategy of historical materials in history teaching.This paper discusses the lesson of The Opium War from four aspects,aiming at providing some methodological guidance for the historical material teaching.(e)In the conclusion part,this paper discusses the necessity and effectiveness of applying historical materials to middle school history classes and the author’s expectations for this article. |
