Emotional management is a kind of ability to recognize and control self-emotion.Simply put,the right way to understand the surrounding environment and make appropriate emotional response.In the booming urbanization construction,the migration of migrant workers ' families has become an unusual social phenomenon.In the course of this migration,a new special group,accompanying children,has emerged.They can enjoy a full range of quality public resources in the city,but the strange living environment brought about by a series of problems,will cause them to have emotional distress,hand in hand.Therefore,it is particularly important to carry out emotional management group work for accompanying children.Through the Literature collection method,the author understands the present situation of the Changsha ZL community,and uses the participatory observation and interview method to investigate the needs of the accompanying children in the community.Comprehensive analysis found that most accompanying children in ZL community faced the problems of emotional perception,expression and lack of regulatory power,which was mainly influenced by schools,families,communities and their own factors.Based on the analysis of the specific situation,the author intends to use the group model to carry on the practical inquiry to the accompanying children's emotional management problem,carries out "The story of Sponge Bob" accompanying children's emotional management ability Enhancement Group.This group aims to understand positive and negative emotions,to know the function of emotions,and to master the methods of correctly managing emotions.In this paper,the author discusses and analyzes the practical experience in the course of each group's activities.Focusing on the changes of service objects from a microscopic perspective,and through supervision,accompanying the feedback of parents,teachers and community residents of children,to conduct a professional evaluation of the effectiveness of emotional management group activities,and further verify the effectiveness of the use of social work methods to improve the emotional management of accompanying children.The author has carried on the thorough reflection to this empirical research,has put forward some substantial suggestions on how the social worker correctly carries on the emotional management ability cultivation to the accompanying children,thus provides the certain reference for the social work to carry on the similar group later.
