At present,with the development of science and technology,citizens' scientific literacy has gradually become a hot issue in society.Science education undertakes important duties of training and promoting students' scientific literacy.In view of the important role of science education,science education in primary schools has increasingly attracted the attention of the society.At the same time,as an important means to deepen the reform of the curriculum for elementary education and improve the quality of teaching,the school-based curriculum has been recognized and affirmed by many schools.Under this background,the school-based curriculum for science education came into being.Some primary schools have made positive attempts to develop school-based curriculum for science education and have achieved remarkable results.The development and practice of school-based curriculum for primary science education is the main research content of this paper,and mainly using the method of literature,case analysis and questionnaire survey.Through sorting out related documents,the theoretical basis and goal pursuit of school-based curriculum development for primary science education were introduced,and the general principles,process and influencing factors were explored and summarized,too.Taking Zhongshan primary school in Nanjing as a case,this paper introduces the resource status,development and course cases of the school-based curriculum for science education in this primary school.The questionnaire survey method was used to investigate the implementation status of the curriculum,and the experience,achievements,and problems of the school-based curriculum for science education in Zhongshan primary school were summarized.Combining the results of theoretical research and case analysis,this paper presents the research conclusions.The study concluded that,(1)The school-based curriculum for science education is an effective form to improve students' scientific literacy and promote their all-round development.(2)The development of school-based curriculum for science education is a complex systematic project.(3)There are still some problems in the development of school-based curriculum for primary science education.Finally,aiming at the problems of school-based curriculum in Zhongshan primary school,this paper puts forward some measures to improve the curriculum.And on this basis,suggestions were put forward for the development of the school-based curriculum for primary science education in China.
