Special education,as an indispensable group in the education for all,is the basic guarantee to realize the popularization of education.In the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it is also proposed that special education should be well run.With the improvement of educational informatization level,under the influence of the Internet+education environment,Ningxia special education has also complied with the development direction of educational informatization,and constantly promoted the development level of special education informatization in the whole region.In order to grasp the current situation of the construction and application of information environment in Ningxia special education schools,this study first consults the research direction and content of information technology in special education by domestic and foreign scholars through literature research method,and carries out a research summary.Then,it conducts field research on 11 special education schools in Ningxia,and uses survey method and classroom obs-ervation method to understand the information development process.Achievements and shortcom-ings.Achievements are mainly due to the complete allocation of school information hardware facilities,the shortcomings are the poor application of information-based teaching in the actual teaching process,mainly reflected in the weak ability of teachers to apply information-based teaching,the small number of special education professionals,the low level of digital campus construction,and the lack of significant improvement of students' information-based ability.In view of the shortcomings,this study also puts forward corresponding improvement measures:schools should attach importance to the introduction of special education talents,teachers should improve the application ability of information-based teaching through professional information-based training,and also need to speed up the development and utilization of special education teaching resources.This study hopes to provide some research reference for the development of special education informatization in Ningxia.However,due to the limitations of research environment and time,the investigation work of this study is not meticulous enough,which leads to certain deficiencies in the interview process and questionnaire survey.The countermeasures and suggestions put forward need to be further tested in the actual teaching.This is also the next step.To study the special education in the process of informatization need to be strengthened.
