Curriculum as a core element of talent training, the Ministry of Education has launched the first batch of "National Boutique Online Open Courses" to deepen the reform of education and teaching in colleges and universities. At this stage,SPOC-based blended learning could effectively combine high-quality MOOC as online learning resource with off-line learning in the classroom,to achieve the goal of using and learning "National Boutique Online Open Courses",and truly benefit the students. At present, some SPOC still faced difficulties such as low class participation, and the researches have confirmed that connected classroom climate had a direct positive impact on students’ participation in learning. In addition, the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board has been proposed computational thinking as an important part of the core literacy of students’ development. The level of innovation competitiveness of all countries in the future will depend on their emphasis computational thinking education. In view of the lack of empirical research of the connected classroom climate and computational thinking related to SPOC-based blended learning at present. This research explored connected classroom climate and computational thinking in the SPOC-based blended learning, and the relevance of the connected classroom climate to computational thinking. In this research,a quasi-experimental research method used to set up two groups of experimental groups, including undergraduate classes and undergraduate classes, with 243 students. Before the experiment carried out,the related research of SPOC sorted out by consulting the literature, which provided the basis for the SPOC-based blended learning in the experimental class. Moreover, using SPSS software to conduct an independent sample t-test’ covariance analysis and correlation analysis on the collected the pre-test and post-test data of connected classroom climate and computational thinking. The results showed that compared with traditional teaching, the SPOC-based blended learning could significantly improve connected classroom climate and computational thinking. In addition, the connected classroom climate had significantly and highly correlation with computational thinking.Specifically in the first dimension of computational thinking, the connected classroom climate had a highly positive correlation with cooperativity and creativity, and had medium positive correlation with critical Thinking, algorithmic thinking, and problem solving. In order to promote SPOC-based blended learning and the cultivation of computational thinking to propose as follows:(1)carry out student-centered collaborative learning to create a connected classroom atmosphere;(2)adopt an open task-driven approach to enhance computational thinking;and(3)focus on the impact of learning peers on individual students to improve computational thinking. The innovation of this research is to demonstrate empirical research that SPOC-breased blended learning has a significant promotion effect on students’perception of connected classroom climate and computational thinking, and there a correlation between connected classroom climate and computational thinking. The research not only enriches the application research of SPOC-based blended learning, but also provides ideas for optimizing the design of SPOC-based blended learning, and provides a new perspective for the cultivation of computational thinking.
