Abstract/Summary:
In the course of years of development,MOOC has met the online learning needs of many learners,but failed to meet the personalized learning experience of students.While inheriting the rich curriculum resources of MOOC,SPOC also exerts its "small but refined" characteristics.Blended collaborative learning is a new collaborative learning model developed on the basis of blended learning.It is a thinking mode based on blended learning that combines face-to-face collaborative learning with computer-supported collaborative learning.The cultivation of problem-solving ability is not only an inevitable requirement of our country’s quality education reform,but also a requirement of innovative talents.Therefore,this study attempts to use SPOC and the concept of blended collaborative learning to build a SPOC-based blended collaborative learning model.The process of cultivating students’ problem-solving ability is integrated into all aspects of teaching design,so as to improve students’ problem-solving ability.First of all,this study summarizes the types of SPOC and blended collaborative learning models through the literature research method.Based on blended learning theory,collaborative learning theory,primary teaching theory,and dominant-subject teaching design theory,it constructs a method to cultivate students’ problem-solving ability.The SPOC-based blended collaborative learning model includes two main lines,online collaborative learning and offline collaborative learning,throughout the entire teaching process(before,during,and after class).Secondly,according to students’ learning needs,teachers’ teaching requirements and SPOC blended collaborative learning mode,the problem-solving ability training indicators are analyzed,and the specific steps of problem-solving ability training in teaching are expounded.Thirdly,using the experimental research method to take the course of "Educational Communication" as an example,on the basis of the analysis of learners,teaching objectives,teaching content,group organization strategies and teaching environment,with the support of SPOC platform,it focuses on cultivating students’ problem-solving ability.Carry out the teaching practice of SPOC-based blended collaborative learning mode,and then explore the deep integration of online collaborative learning and classroom collaborative learning.Finally,this research uses questionnaire survey method,experimental research method and social network analysis method to investigate the teaching status and after-class satisfaction of students,analyze the effect of problem-solving ability training,and analyze the effect of collaboration among group members in collaborative learning.The results of teaching practice and data analysis show that:(1)The use of SPOC-based blended collaborative learning model has significantly improved students’ problem-solving ability in teaching practice.(2)Social network analysis verifies the effectiveness of blended collaborative learning.(3)Blended collaborative learning based on SPOC improves students’ classroom interaction,classroom learning effect and student participation.In conclusion,the SPOC-based blended collaborative learning model constructed in this study improves students’ problem-solving ability,and provides an example for universities to carry out SPOC course blended teaching.
