With the development of the new curriculum reformation of basic education, basic education is facing comprehensive and profound changes, which requires new learning mode and learning concept for the students.Blended learning is a combination of online learning and traditional learning methods.Researches on innovations of blended learning based on MOOC keep coming up.Evidently,SPOC teaching case based on blended learning is common among these top universities. However, researches on the application of MOOC or SPOC in the basic education are rare, most of which are purely theoretical, without any case study coming after. At present, there is no consistent pattern on how to design and implement the SPOC teaching in junior high school curriculum. This study draws lessons from the domestic and foreign SPOC blended learning in the university curriculum development experience, and tries to transfer the SPOC blended learning mode to the physics teaching practice in junior high school. The author of this paper tries to apply SPOC blended learning theory to the junior high school physical electrical teaching.First,Three teaching cases on the study of electricity are designed. They are the "circuit special study course","Ohm’s law learning lesson" and "Dynamic Circuits special study course",then carried out in four classes(two key classes A1 and A2,two ordinary classes B1 and B2)of the third grade in a middle school of Ganzhou City,Afterwards, students will take classroom test to evaluate the teaching effect,Lastly,A questionnaire survey about SPOC-based blended learning is carried out.The first teaching case is carried out in Class A1 and Class B1.The control classes are Class A2 and Class B2.Following test results show that both the average scores and excellent rate of the experimental class are higher than the control class,,but the failure rate of the former is also higher. In order to further improve the credibility of the above results, the author chooses Class A2 and Class B2 for the second experiment,The control classes are Class A1 and Class B1.Again,test results show that the average scores and excellent rate of the experimental class are higher. The failure rate of the former is also higher. The author believes the reasons for higher failure rate of the experimental class is because that a part of the experimental class students can not quickly adapt to the new mode of learning. In order to confirm the author’s speculation, the author chooses class A1 and B2 for the third experiment, the two of which have experienced the SPOC blended learning mode twice. The control classes are Class A2 and Class B1.The statistical analysis tells that the failure rate between the two groups is very close. We can conclude that as students adapt to the SPOC blended learning mode gradually,it will improve their learning more than the traditional mode.SPOC-based blended learning mode are superior to the traditional way, therefore are worthy of reference in basic educational reformation. In the questionnaire survey, students in general are willing to accept this experimental leaning mode.Half of them believe that teachers are not experienced enough to control the classroom in this new mode, that they need to constantly improve their teaching methods.Students also suggest having access tomore excellent SPOC videos in the lead-in part before class. |
