The Development Of Talent Assessment In China And Its Application In University Selection

Talent assessment technology has different development characteristics at home and abroad.China's talent selection has a profound cultural background and ideological concepts,historical precipitation has accumulated a wealth of references and classical sentences,but the rapid development of science until the door is after the founding of the Cultural Revolution,only a few decades of development.The development of psychology,management and statistics is the prerequisite and theoretical basis for the development of talent assessment technology.The development of foreign talent assessment technology was founded on the birth of scientific psychology.Psychological assessment technology was widely used in the selection of soldiers and officers in World War I,and then extended to the fields of education,clinical psychology and enterprise management.With the rapid development of talent assessment technology in the West,the popularity of the market and government is high.The introduction of talent assessment technology in the field of universities is more common,and has advanced talent concept and talent selection culture.In the process of talent selection and recruitment,colleges and universities in China follow the standards and procedures of selecting talents in Institutions of higher learning,which is relatively conservative.Few schools can develop recruitment process and talent evaluation system that can meet the characteristics of University talents.In addition to written examinations,interviews and speaking sessions,some introduce psychological tests to test the mental health level of talent.Taking the method of talent introduction in XXX Ceramic University as an example,this paper analyzes the process and characteristics of talent selection in XXX Ceramic University,and summarizes and perfects the evaluation process and supplementary elements suitable for XXX Ceramic University in light of the characteristics and highlights of the school running by combining advanced talent evaluation technology.The deficiency of the research lies in the lack of practice and validation,but the direction and trend of the future university talent evaluation are summarized and prospected.
