At present,reading picture books has become a hot trend.Picture books are "hot" in the children’s book market due to their illustrated content and interesting stories,and have gradually become a new trend of children’s reading.In the teaching of lower-level Chinese reading,the teaching of picture books is springing up like bamboo shoots after a spring rain.This study mainly interviews four front-line primary school Chinese teachers,and sorts out and analyzes the collected teaching materials of picture books.Based on the questionnaire survey of the teacher group,the present situation of the teaching of picture book reading in primary school Chinese is understood,the problems are analyzed,and the countermeasures for the teaching of picture book reading are proposed.This study is mainly divided into the following parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the reasons for the topic selection,the research status at home and abroad and the elaboration of the research methods.Among them,there are four main reasons for the selection of the topic:fit the needs of current basic education reform;To meet the current primary school Chinese low reading teaching needs;It meets the needs of improving the current teaching of picture book reading and answering the questions of picture book teaching.The first part mainly expounds the teaching and educational value of reading picture books in primary school Chinese.The second part is an investigation on the current situation of the teaching of reading picture books in primary schools.By means of questionnaire,interview,observation and collection of relevant materials,this paper expounds the current situation of picture book reading teaching from the aspects of teachers’ understanding of picture books,students’current reading situation of picture books,teachers’ choice of picture books and difficulties in teaching picture books reading.The third part analyzes the current problems in the teaching of low paragraph picture book reading in primary school from three aspects:the absence of teachers’ position on children,unclear teaching objectives and the lack of systematic teaching design.The lack of teachers’position on children makes it difficult for teachers to mobilize students’ initiative and enthusiasm in the process of teaching,unclear teaching objectives lead to the lack of pertinence and relevance in the selection of picture books,and the lack of systematic teaching design makes it difficult to achieve the desired teaching effect.The fourth part proposes corresponding countermeasures to the above problems:first,the teaching of picture book reading should adhere to the position of children and make clear the teaching objectives;second,the basic principles of picture book teaching should be followed to carry out diversified communication activities of picture book reading and correctly handle the relationship between picture books and textbooks.The teaching of picture book reading is still in development.Through this study,it is hoped that the children’s tandpoint can be rooted in the minds of frontline teachers and inject new vitality into the teaching of picture book reading.To some extent,this study also provides new ideas and references for frontline teachers to guide the teaching of picture book reading.Therefore,the teaching of picture book reading is of unique value in the cultivation of students’ learning interest,the development of students’ability and the edification of students’ emotions.
