Line is an ancient and strange art language,from Graffiti period,children use lines as the basic means of painting.It can be said that line drawing is the most important method for children to depict objective objects and express their emotions.In fact from a physical point of view,the lines in our life are not real lines,but rather the specific forms that people present in their minds when they are simplified and summarized.Therefore,children can improve their ability to observe,analyze,simplify and summarize objective things while learning to draw lines,these abilities play a key role in the development of children's intelligence.There is no strict limit on the material,children are free to choose their own favorite materials and expressions depicting objects,expressing emotions,such freedom can not only protect children's enthusiasm for painting,but also protect the authenticity of children's emotions.Of course,the teacher's guidance and inspiration is very important,the image which hidden in child's brain often need the guidance of teachers or parents to be manifested.However,line drawing courses are still taught by techniques nowadays,not based on the long-term development of children,and rigid teaching forms,teaching content is single,doesn't meet the level of psychological development and interest of students.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the scientific and systematic teaching of line drawing course in the first part of elementary school,which is exactly the focus of this dissertation.This thesis consists of four parts.The first part discusses the prerequisites and foundations of drawing in line in the first period of primary school from the aspects of students' physical and mental development and the ability of painting.The second part discusses the significance and value of line drawing learning from two aspects:the unique charm of line itself and the promotion effect of line drawing on student development.The third part mainly discusses the implementation strategies and evaluation methods of line drawing teaching from the three aspects of the basic theoretical knowledge of line drawing,sketch teaching and multi-angle evaluation criteria.The fourth part combines the specific teaching cases,verifies the scientific nature of the theoiy on the basis of practice,and provides a meaningful reference for line drawing teaching practice.
