"Graphics and geometry" in junior high school play an important role in the cultivation of students' geometric thinking.The curriculum reform of elementary education makes mathematics textbooks in China present“one standard and more versions”.We select the content of graphics and geometry in“compulsory education textbook mathematics”that published by People's Education Press,Beijing Normal University Press and East China Normal University Press as the research object,the purpose is to analyze the geometric content and the level of thinking in the three editions textbooks,and we select the“congruent triangle”in the three editions textbook and divide it into teaching content and example?exercises analysis comparing the similarities and differences of the three editions textbook,and to give some suggestions on the compilation of textbooks.The paper uses literature analysis to analyze the exposition of the level of geometric thinking in Van Hill's theory,and constructs the analysis and evaluation framework of textbooks,and uses content analysis to analyze and compare the geometric content and the level of geometric thinking presented in the three editions of textbooks,In addition,this paper makes a detailed comparative analysis of the contents of the "congruent triangle" and analyses the similarities and differences among them and draws a conclusion after comparison.The three math textbooks start with new concepts with the perspective of geometric intuition and developed from a low level to a high level in thinking level,which basically conforms to the development mode of Van Hiele's geometric thinking level,the textbook printed by People's Education Press and East China Normal University Press pay attention to the cultivation of students' logical reasoning ability,while the other pays more attention to the cultivation of students' practical exploration ability.Based on comparison,the following suggestions are provided for the compilation of geometry textbooks in China:in the content arrangement,we should notice permeation of geometric proof in textbooks,the appropriateness of knowledge structure setting and the relevance and integrity of content setting;in the geometric thinking level arrangement,the geometric thinking level of textbooks should conform to the characteristics of the development of students' geometric thinking level,textbooks should make a good transition between the two thinking levels and combine students' actual geometric thinking level with the compilation of teaching materials.
