The teaching design is the blueprint which is planned before the actual teaching starts,and plays a guiding role in the actual teaching process.However,teaching design is different from the actual teaching.When applied to the actual teaching,teathing design will be challenged,which requires that teaching design should be conducted under the guidance of a certain mode.The existing teaching design patterns are diverse,and different teaching design patterns are proposed under the guidance of corresponding theories.Most of the traditional teaching design patterns of middle school use atomism as their theoretical basis,aiming at the teaching of one aspect and the improvement of certain qualities of students.The completion of complex learning tasks that are open and holistic in real situations and the improvement of students' comprehensive literacy are not enough.With the development of society,more and more problems encountered in the real society are the solution of complex problems.Any problem is not a simple problem in an ideal situation,nor a mechanical combination of simple problems.Therefore,learning should be a process of solving complex problems.Under this circumstance,the new round of middle school curriculum reform also pays more attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality and the improvement of students' practical ability.Based on the shortcomings of traditional middle school teaching design as well as the requirements of social development and new curriculum reform for the development of middle school students,the author focuses on complex learning,explores the essential connotation of complex learning,and studies the theories related to complex learning.Meanwhile,on the premise of summarizing predecessors' foundation combined with the actual situation of middle school geography teaching,this paper will construct a new teaching mode.In this paper,the author uses the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,case study and action study to summarize the research status of complex learning and holistic teaching design at home and abroad,and defines the coreconcepts of "complex learning" and "holistic teaching design".This paper focuses on the analysis of cognitive elasticity theory,cognitive load theory and 4C/ID mode theory,and draws the inspiration of the above theory to construct a new teaching design mode.After a detailed analysis of the shortcomings of traditional instructional design,this paper expounds the distinctive features of the middle school geography holistic teaching design mode for complex learning,and then constructs a new teaching design mode and elaborates the new teaching mode.The actual teaching research is carried out by using the constructed new teaching design mode to verify its actual teaching effect and then draw conclusions.Practice has proved that the new teaching design mode can effectively help students improve their ability to solve complex problems in real situations,improve students' enthusiasm for learning,and cultivate students' comprehensive quality.The author hopes that through this study,readers can have a more comprehensive understanding of the middle school geography integrated teaching design mode about complex learning,and the new mode can be truly accepted by everyone and used in practical teaching to promote the improvement of students' practical ability and comprehensive quality.
