| Nowadays,the economic globalization has intensified the international competitions.And meanwhile,the advantages of cooperation and innovation have become increasingly significant between the industries and the universities.Accordingly,the Industry-University-Research Cooperation(IURC)is becoming an more and more important part for universities and enterprises,not only to enhance their competitive advantages but also to bring tremendous dynamics to the international and regional growth.As a new effective means of resource integration and allocation,the IURC network has attracted the whole worldwide attentions.So it is inevitably essential to the positive interactions among the innovative actors in the Industry-University-Research Cooperation.Based on the Complex Network Theory and the theory of cooperation between industry,university and research institute,the basic elements,construction and characteristics of industry-university-institute(IUI)cooperation network are explored in the thesis.By combining the methodologies of case study,literature reviews and Small World Network Theory analysis,the cooperation network between industries,Universities and research institutes in Hangzhou City are explored elaborately in the thesis for an case.And then the macrostructure,microstructure and cooperation status are analyzed and followed some more specific and detailed suggestions eventually.The conclusions are the following: the IURC network has obvious characteristics of small-world network in Hangzhou City;the IURC in Hangzhou City is rather limited and insufficient on the overall extent and depth,as well as a big disparity between different institutions by visualizing of Gephi.The suggestions are mainly advised on maintaining the small-world advantages of the IUR cooperation network,building more platforms for IUR cooperation and communication;enhancing theinnovative outputs of IUR cooperation;and deepening the awareness of IUR cooperation in individual university as well. |
