Over the past decade, inquiry learning has become a hot topic among educators in China. It is a new way of learning which is explorative, subjective, interactive, procedural, and open. However until now, it remains lots of deficiencies and difficulties in both theoretic and practical areas of the inquiry learning,and the study of relationship of community learning in inquiry learning is rarely seen.In this article, by using the principles of information theory, the author recodes and reconstructs the relationship of community learning in inquiry learning and extracts characteristics of interactive network from it. Therefore, the article originally uses the analytical method of complex networks to study the inquiry learning from a new perspective, and then following the findings of the study, some optimized methods of it are proposed.The article has four parts:The preface reflects that message of the relationship of community learning in inquiry learning in students is passing through the transmission network, underpinned by exploration of elements and interaction of it. And to explore the interactive relationship of it systematically, it therefore discusses the inquiry learning based on complex network as the thesis of this article.In the second part, as the theoretic basis of this paper, it examines some basic methods and indices of instructional properties and analysis of the complex network in the inquiry learning. Part three, basing on the complex networks, elucidates the constructional method of relationship of community learning models.After that, it simulates two kinds of different network models, compares between them and then analyzes data from global, local, and individual perspectives separately.According to the discussion above, the last part of the paper proposes some methods for optimizing the inquiry learning.To sum up, this article tries to introduce the analytical method of complex networks into the theoretical and practical areas of the inquiry learning and improve the theory of it. In addition, it makes education more scientific and effective by directing the applied area of the education with the analysis of the network models.
