When analyzing the relationship between students' academic achievements and their family's cultural capital,most scholars have confirmed the positive correlation between bourdieu's opinions about the quantity and quality of family cultural capital and students' academic achievements.Moving to China,a considerable number of rural students have achieved excellent academic performance despite being in the countryside.In order to explore the reasons for their high academic performance,this paper makes an analysis from the perspective of cultural self-capital by using the methods of educational story interpretation and interview,among which the main reasons for their excellent academic performance are as follows:More convenient transportation and economic development level of the rural students study has laid a solid material foundation,since the ancient times the deep cultural tradition and relearn from farm house construction in recent years is one of the important characteristics township shop is different from other areas,is also a small township of rural high school students achieve good academic important premise.Nanzhao modern middle school teacher,who is a senior high school student of small shop town,has replaced the role that should be played by the family to display the function of cultural capital,and has played the role of ideological guidance,cultural knowledge popularization,economic assistance and other work for these senior high school students,thus ensuring the acquisition of cultural capital for senior high school students of small shop town.The boarding school spirit and system construction objectively promote the township high school students cultural capital acquisition.In addition,peer groups,relatives and friends supplement the cultural capital of these students by giving away books and sharing information about studying,so that they can obtain relatively abundant cultural capital.Finally,the families of students from small shop town attach great importance to their children's education,and their parents and children generally have a strong pragmatic educational view of "repay parents and go out of the countryside" and a rational identity of educational tools of "relying on education to change destiny",which are important supports for the high school students from small shop town to achieve excellent academic performance.It is worth noting that the "high drive and high avoidance" learning motivation,special learning strategies and college entrance examination evaluation system are also important reasons for their success.
