Chinese is a member of the Chinese language group,and Thai language belongs to the Zhuang language group;the Chinese language group and the Zhuang language group belong to the Sino-Tibetan language family.One of the characteristics of the Sino-Tibetan language family is the existence of a large amount of quantifier systems.Different historical inheritance and cultural characteristics have created the differences between the two languages.Both Chinese and Thai have their own characteristics.These differences make it difficult for Thai primary school students whose first language is Thai to have inevitable errors in learning Chinese noun quantifiers.This thesis researches the learning status of Chinese pronouns in the primary school of Sukhanaree World Class School in Thailand.Based on the General Grammar Theory,the author uses the methods of comparative analysis,questionnaire,data statistics error analysis to calculate the Chinese noun quantifiers appearing in textbooks of students and the actual teaching in high frequency.In the field teaching,the authors classifies the types of inductive errors,and finds the causes of the errors in the grades 3-6 of Sukhanaree World Class School,and proposes corresponding teaching suggestions for the errors.This thesis consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction,which expounds the research background,research overview and research purpose,the theoretical basis of the research,the research content and methods.The second part explains the students of Grade 3-6 of Sukhanaree World Class School.The semantics and characteristics of the 12 Chinese noun quantifiers appearing in high frequency during the process of learning Chinese,and the comparative analysis of Chinese and Thai for the semantics and characteristics of the noun quantifiers;the third part is the Chinese noun quantifiers appearing in the students of Sukhanaree World Class School in Thailand.Then errors are classified.The types of errors are:mis-selection,mis-sequence,omission,and then analysis the errors.The fourth part analyzes the causes of Chinese noun quantifiers errors from four dimensions,namely:the students' own factors,The factors of Chinese teachers in Thailand,the difficulty of Chinese noun quantifiers acquisition and the preparation of textbooks;the fifth part puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions,mainly:first,teaching according to the characteristics of Chinese-Thai language;second,paying attention to classroom quality and stimulating students' interest in learning;Third,part teaching combined with overall teaching,fourth,Focus on the errors made by Thai primary school students to teach them effectively.The fifth part is the conclusion,summarizing the research results and shortcomings of this thesis.
