| The new curriculum reform requires changing the orientation of teachers and students’ roles.Teachers are transformed from knowledge instructors to teaching leaders, making students the masters of teaching activities. At the same time,it emphasizes the need to cultivate students’ active participation awareness, inquiry ability, problem solving ability and cooperation ability in classroom teaching activities. In this context, the participation of students in the geography classroom has gradually received attention.Because the traditional teaching mode and the current curriculum reform are not suitable, the high school geography requires students to have strong comprehensive thinking ability and abstract understanding ability, which makes learning difficult and learning interest weakened. Therefore, geography teachers need to change their concepts and use new teaching models to promote students’ geography learning. In the 2017 high school geography new curriculum standard teaching suggestion, teachers should pay attention to problem-based teaching. In the process of teaching, focus on solving problems.Teachers should guide students to use geographical thinking in the process of problem solving and establish geography related to ―problems‖.Knowledge structure, and analyze problems layer by layer, and reasonably express opinions. The PBL teaching mode is problem-based teaching, which is a new teaching mode based on the problem. The model is based on students. The teacher designs the problem situation, and the students analyze the problem in a group discussion manner in the problem situation, summarize and summarize.Solving problems and guiding students to construct a knowledge framework fully embodies the student’s dominant position and the guiding role of the teacher,so that the students become the masters of the classroom. With the development of the new curriculum reform, how to participate in the geography classroom, how to effectively improve the classroom participation of students in geography teaching has become one of the focuses of high school geography teaching research, and has gradually received attention. The PBL teaching mode can fully reflect the student-oriented teaching philosophy. Therefore, how to participate in high school students’ participation in geography teaching, what factors are affected, and how to use PBL teaching mode to effectively improve the participation of high school students in geography classrooms has become an important research.content.Geography classroom participation is one of the important characteristics that reflects the status of students’ classroom subjects. The paper uses literature research method to analyze the research status of PBL teaching mode and classroom participation at home and abroad, and finds that there is a large research space in combining PBL teaching mode with high school geography teaching. After the concept definition and theoretical basic research of the PBL teaching model, the geography classroom participation questionnaire survey and interviews were conducted among the two high school students in Henan Province, and the overall level of high school students’ geography classroom participation was not high.Geography classroom participation is divided into three aspects: behavioral participation, cognitive participation, and emotional participation. The survey found that high school students’ behavioral participation level is low.Among them, students’ geographical behavior participation motivation is not enough, the degree of research is low,and the time investment for geography learning is too Less;cognitive participation middle school students mostly adopt shallow cognitive strategies, deep cognitive strategies are not used enough, and at the same time, they are more dependent on teachers and classmates;emotional participation has a higher sense of fun in geography learning, but at the same time students’ anxiety Feelings and boredom are also high, especially students’ awareness of self-directed learning is weak.Through the analysis of high school students’ questionnaires and interviews,it is found that there are two factors influencing the low participation of high school students in geography classrooms: teacher factors and student factors.According to the status quo of the research, the characteristics of the PBL teaching mode and the advantages compared with the traditional teaching mode, the PBL teaching mode is analyzed to summarize the effectiveness of the high school students’ participation in the geography classroom, and the corresponding teaching implementation strategies are proposed.Using the promotion strategy, the high school class of Lankao County Innovative High School will conduct PBL teaching mode teaching for the experimental class, select the class similar to the class of geography classroom participation as the control class, and implement the two-month PBL teaching mode teaching. After that, using the quantitative analysis method to compare the results of the geography classroom participation questionnaire of the control class and the experimental class and the pre-test results of the experimental class, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Using the PBL teaching mode to engage the high school students in the geography classroom participation The overall improvement effect is remarkable;(2)the use of PBL teaching mode teaching has a significant impact on the behavioral participation of high school students in geography classroom participation: the two dimensions of research and time input are significant;cognitive participation: the deep cognitive strategy dimension is significantly improved;Emotional participation: The sense of fun and success in geography learning has improved, anxiety and boredom have declined. The innovation of the thesis is to combine the PBL teaching mode with the high school students’ geography classroom participation, and promote the application of PBL teaching mode in geography teaching.Based on the analysis of the current situation and the theoretical analysis of PBL teaching mode, the high school is proposed. The strategy of participation in geography classroom participation and the implementation of the proposed promotion strategy based on PBL teaching mode have practical guiding significance for geography teaching. |
