High school students are expected to usher in the first important turning point in their lives-college entrance examination.Compared with other stages,the test anxiety of high school students is the most prominent.Examination anxiety is a special anxiety brought about by the specific test scenario for the individual and the high degree of mental tension.Excessive test anxiety has more negative effects on students' learning,which is not conducive to the improvement of learning efficiency and achievement.Long-term persistence will cause certain damage to students' physical and mental health.High school students are in the middle and late teenagers,still with instability and contradiction,self-esteem development is of great significance at this stage.Self-esteem is the feeling that a person feels self-worth and self-ability.In the self-system,it belongs to the emotional category.People with high self-esteem are more psychologically prepared to adapt.Untolerable uncertainty is an individual's cognitive and emotional and behavioral response to variables in ordinary life situations.This is the key internal mechanism for the formation of anxiety disorder.This study will explore the relationship between high school students' self-esteem,intolerable uncertainty and test anxiety by questionnaire survey,and analyze the mediating role of intolerable uncertainty between self-esteem and test anxiety.First,the average score of high school students' self-esteem is in the upper middle level of the score range,which indicates that high school students' self-esteem level is higher;the average score of high school students' intolerance of uncertainty is in the middle level of the score range,that is,high school students' intolerance of uncertainty is in the middle level;the average score of high school students' test anxiety is in the middle level of the score range.According to the classification of test anxiety,it can be seen that the test anxiety of senior high school students is in the middle level on average.Secondly,there are obvious gender differences in self-esteem and intolerable uncertainty.Compared with high school boys,the self-esteem of high school girls is generally lower.Compared with girls,the degree of male students' intolerable uncertainty is higher.From the perspective of whether they are only children or not,there are significant differences in both self-esteem and test anxiety,compared with non-only children.Only-child children have higher self-esteem and lower test anxiety.There are also obvious differences in self-esteem and test anxiety in the family.Compared with the high school students who do not live in the city,the high school students who live in the city have higher self-esteem level and lower test anxiety.In terms of school types,there are also obvious differences in self-esteem and test anxiety.Compared with the high school students in ordinary schools,the students in key schools have higher self-esteem.Anxiety is lower.Self-esteem and intolerable uncertainty have significant differences in the class ranking.The self-esteem level of the top 40 students in the class ranking is higher than that of the students after 40,and the intolerable uncertainty of the senior high school students after 40 is higher than that of the senior high school students before 40.Third,high school students' self-esteem level is negatively correlated with test anxiety,and it is negatively correlated with intolerable uncertainty.That is,the higher their self-esteem level is,the lower their anxiety level will be,and the lower their intolerable uncertainty will be.High school students' intolerable uncertainty and test anxiety are positively correlated.When high school students can not tolerate the higher the uncertainty,the higher the test will be.Anxiety also rises.Fourthly,the level of high school students' self-esteem can directly predict the degree of test anxiety.In addition,between self-esteem and test anxiety,the intolerance of uncertainty plays a part of mediating role.On this basis,we propose to improve self-esteem and tolerance of uncertain situations to alleviate the test anxiety of high school students.
