In the junior high school,students' academic difficulty,academic pressure gradually increase,and test anxiety level is high,which affects learning efficiency and performance,and endangers physical and mental health.This study explores the characteristics of parental rearing and test anxiety and the characteristics of mutual relationship,self-esteem and academic self-efficacy in the township junior high school students and their mediating role in parenting style and test anxiety,which will further analyze the reasons for test anxiety and provide a theoretical basis for students to ease test anxiety.The study used 513 junior high school students from a middle school in X City as the subject,using the “Simplified Parenting Style Questionnaire”(s-EMBU-C),the Self-Esteem Scale(SES),the Academic Self-Efficacy Scale,and The Test Anxiety Scale(TAS)conducted a questionnaire survey.Using SPSS20.0 and AMOS24.0 to analyze the data,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)Partial dimensions of parenting styles are significantly different in gender,whether class cadres,whether they are only students,grades,academic achievement levels,and fathers' educational level.Test anxiety differs significantly in different grades and academic performance levels.(2)Parental rearing style is significantly associated with test anxiety and predictive.(3)Parental rearing style is significantly related to self-esteem and academic self-efficacy and has a very significant predictive effect on it.Self-esteem is significantly correlated with academic self-efficacy and has a very significant predictive effect on it.Both of them are significantly related to test anxiety and have significant predictive effects.Self-esteem and academic self-efficacy have a chain of multiple mediating roles between the dimensions of parenting style and test anxiety.(4)Self-esteem and academic self-efficacy are significantly related to parenting style and test anxiety.Parental negative and positive parenting styles indirectly affect the test anxiety of junior high school students through the mediating role of self-esteem and the chain mediation of self-esteem and academic self-efficacy,parental positive parenting style alsonegatively affects test anxiety through the mediating effect of academic self-efficacy.Finally,based on the research conclusions and relevant educational experience at home and abroad,the corresponding educational recommendations are proposed.
