A Survey On The Status Of Sex Education In Children's Families

With the increase of sex abuse in the society,people pay more attention to the child's sex education.Sex education is of great significance to the development of personality and the healthy development of the body and mind.The most suitable place for teaching young children's sexual knowledge is the place where they live-the family.Based on the existing theories and experiences of children's sex education both at home and abroad,this paper takes children in E kindergarten in Fuzhou as an example to explore children's family sex education.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and case study.It presents and analyzes the situation of family education in E kindergartens from three aspects,which are parents'understanding of sex education,implementation of sexual education and difficulties faced.The survey results show that most parents have recognized the necessity of child sex education,but there are still many problems in the actual process of family education.These problems are mainly manifested as:the main body of sexual education is not clear;parents' sexual education concepts and actions are out of touch;parents'sexual knowledge is deficient;sex education is one-sided;sexual education is single.In the end,the main reasons for these problems are the influence of the external environment,the restraint of traditional ideas and the lack of the skills and abilities of parents'sex education.Therefore,this study puts forward some suggestions on promoting the implementation of family sex education from the family education parents perspective:parents should break through the traditional ideas,achieve unity;establish a good family relationship,clear the subject of education;to establish the principle of family sex education;improve the ability of family sex education;strengthen homeland linkage.
