The Study On The Application Of Social Work To The Priority Poverty Alleviation Of Minority Women

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that it is necessary to gather the power of the whole country and achieve the great goal of precision poverty alleviation.As an ethnic and frontier region,Xinjiang has a deeper level of poverty.The poverty problem of ethnic minorities has become an important issue in Xinjiang's economic and social development.In particular,minority women in rural areas are affected by many factors such as ideology,cultural quality,Chinese language level and they face more serious poverty problems.In the new phase of Xinjiang's poverty alleviation plan,minority women in rural areas have become a focus group of poverty alleviation.At present,the implementation of the poverty-stricken units in the Xinjiang region to reduce the family's economic income as the goal of poverty alleviation is often neglected by the fact that women in the family are invisible poverty-stricken people.Under the background of accurate home assistance,this study accurately takes the poverty-stricken ethnic minority women in P village of Xinjiang as the service target,adhering to the professional concept of social work that helping people to help themselves,and uses the advantage perspective and social support as the theoretical basis to conduct on-the-spot investigation and the current poverty alleviation status on the basic situation of P village.The actual needs of ethnic women are analyzed in detail,and the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention are explored.Using the professional methods of group work and community work to carry out social work,through the development of the employment skills team and the capacity building team at the group level,actively develop the potential of minority wom en to help them promote self-poverty and self-development.At the community level,the village committee,social work organization,and social forces work together to provide high-quality resources for poor minority women,build support networks for minority women,enhance self-efficacy,increase their social participation,and achieve flexible employment.Ultimately they can get rid of poverty and get rich.Finally,through the multi-dimensional evaluation of group work and community work intervention,the useful results of social work intervention and the existing predicaments are analyzed,and corresponding suggestions are given.
