With the rapid development of China's economy and society in recent years,the demand for skilled talents in various industries is becoming more and more urgent.In January 2019,the State issued the National Plan for the Reform of Vocational Education,which calls for the promotion of vocational education to be as important as that of general education,and the active implementation of the overall reform of vocational education.At present,the social ability standard for skilled talents is turning its focus to the all-round type,hoping that vocational colleges and universities will cultivate the compound talents with more comprehensive ability and innovative accomplishment.Cultivating cross-border and innovative talents are the characteristics of STEAM education.It is a hot educational idea in recent years,but it is too little involved in the field of secondary vocational education.In order to promote the reform of the Teaching Model of secondary vocational schools,the author choose the thematic Teaching Model which is highly integrated with the STEAM education,and explored the secondary vocational school Teaching Model which accords with the requirements of the modern society combined with the actual situation of the secondary vocational schools.Through extensive review and analysis of relevant literatures at home and abroad,this study has a deep understanding of STEAM education and thematic Teaching Modell,and has made a concept definition of STEAM education and thematic Teaching Model.After referring to the typical thematic Teaching Model,teaching cases and analyzing the present situation of the current vocational Teaching Model,the basic process of the secondary vocational Teaching Model under the STEAM concept is designed.The design elements of teaching objectives,teaching themes,teaching space,teaching process and teaching evaluation are expounded.On this basis,the specific teaching case was developed to illustrate the knowledge points in the Premiere video editing course of the secondary vocational film and television major.In order to verify the effect of this study,the author selected the relevant classes in the school to carry out experimental research.At the end of the teaching experiment,the results of the experimental class and the control class are analyzed,at the same time,some students of the two classes are interviewed to help verify the effectiveness of the experiment.In this Teaching Model,the concept of teaching space is designed according to the different learning places of the three teaching links before,during and after class.Teaching space is divided into family space,pre-space,post-space,cyberspace.In the family space and the preclass space before the class,it is mainly to carry out the tool resource design of the theme,the activity design of the theme in the early space and the later space,as well as the expansion and promotion design of the theme content in the home space after class.Cyberspace is the whole teaching link between teachers and students.It is the network resource link between teachers and students,and it is also the link between teachers and students.Through the analysis of experimental results and data,it is found that the thematic Teaching Model under the concept of STEAM can effectively promote the learning interest and academic achievement of secondary vocational school students,and the students' ability to solve comprehensive problems in real life,innovation ability,autonomous learning ability,unity and cooperation ability,and hands-on ability can be improved obviously.
