The new curriculum reform clearly puts forward to pay attention to the improvement of students'comprehensive quality.Innovation ability,as an essential character and key ability for students to adapt to the needs of life-long development and social development,is also the core of comprehensive quality.Only with innovation ability can we lead science and technology and grasp the initiative in the information age.It is an urgent and long-term undertaking to develop students' innovation ability.The STEAM education concept focuses on specific problems or projects in the real world,emphasizing the use of interdisciplinary knowledge and cultivating students' innovative thinking through the process of exploring and solving problems.Through a large number of theoretical and practical researches on STEAM education,researchers at home and abroad have found that STEAM education has a significant effect on cultivating innovation ability and problem-solving ability.Therefore,it is feasible to combine the STEAM concept with physics teaching to cultivate students'STEAM literacy and pay attention to the improvement of students'innovative thinking.This study first defines core concepts such as STEAM teaching concept,innovation ability and teaching mode through literature research and other relevant theoretical research.Secondly,using the form of questionnaire to select two classes of students in grade two of the practice school,to analyze the current situation of innovation ability cultivation.Thirdly,based on the investigation and research combined with the theoretical guidance,the STEAM physics teaching mode oriented to the cultivation of innovative thinking is designed and constructed by referring to the existing relevant teaching models.Then,according to the model,three sections of elective physics 3-1 in high school were selected for teaching design,teaching practice is carried out in the experimental class,and teaching practice is carried out in the control class by the model of "teaching-exercise".Finally,after the teaching practice,the teaching effect was analyzed in the form of questionnaire survey,and the analysis results showed that the STEAM physics teaching model oriented to the cultivation of innovative thinking was feasible to a certain extent,it is helpful for students to improve their innovative thinking and innovative ability.
