Seeking The Poetry And Aesthetics Of The Chinese Language

Dong Yifei,advocate of "Poetic Chinese Teaching",is an influential female Chinese special-grade teacher in the middle schools of China.Her aesthetic teaching of Chinese poetry brings students a warm spring-like feeling in class,which is of great research value.Under the background of the new curriculum reform and the urgent appeal of the core qualities of Chinese learning,she,who has been teaching students in the middle school for 30 years,always practiced and enriched her teaching philosophy of poetic Chinese.Her devotion to Chinese teaching inspired the young teachers’professional development,which has led the poetic teaching trends of Chinese for educators of new generation.She boosted the development of Chinese teaching reform in primary and secondary schools.This article explicates Dong Yifei’s poetic growing and teaching processes and focuses on her concept and practice of poetic Chinese teaching,that is,to discuss the characteristics of poetic Chinese teaching from both theoretical and practical aspects.Meanwhile make a time-and-space comparative analysis among the poetic,the natural and traditional poetic Chinese teaching modes.Finally,reflection and summary will be provided based on the study.lt is earnestly hoped that the article can contribute to some reference and enlightenment for Chinese educators,particularly the young in primary and secondary schools.
