Study On The Problems Of Rural Daughters-in-law Support For The Old-age Are Facing Under The Background Of Aged Tendency Of Population

With the rapid economic development and accelerated social transformation,China is entering a deep aging society,and the problem of providing for the aged is becoming increasingly prominent.As more than half of the elderly population in China is located in rural areas,the rural old-age pension is facing greater challenges.The traditional family pension mode still occupies the main position in most rural areas of China nowadays,and the idea of "raising children and preventing old age" is still very popular in rural areas.Gender norms and rural customs give women the role of "in-house",while daughters-in-law plays the role of accompanying the elderly for the longest time and taking care of the elderly the most frequently.Therefore,the quality of the elderly pension is largely related to the attitude and behavior of daughters-in-law.Studying the main problems faced by our country's rural daughter-in-law's old-age support,exploring the causes of the problems and putting forward countermeasures and suggestions have far-reaching significance for improving the quality of our country's rural daughter-in-law's old-age support,improving our country's rural old-age security system,and promoting family harmony and social harmony.The study mainly relies on case interview method to collect data.27 elderly people and 11 daughters-in-law from the main families and United families of D village in He Nan province were selected as interviewees.Through the analysis of the specific ways of providing for the elderly in D village of He Nan province,it is concluded that in most of the United families and main families in rural areas of China,the elderly mainly adopt the specific ways of "rotation" and "single child separated from family".Based on the role theory and social exchange theory,the author analyzed the main problems faced by daughter-in-law's old-age support,such as: serious lack of economic support;too single content of daily care;very little spiritual support;emotional treatment of vulnerable elderly;daughter-in-law is easy to cost the old-age support.In order to improve the quality of the old-age care fordaughters-in-law more effectively,the author analyses the main causes of the problems,and then puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of developing rural economy,promoting filial piety culture and education,improving the bad family relationship between daughters-in-law and parents-in-law,and introducing social work in rural areas,hoping to help improve the quality of the old-age care for the rural elderly,and realize the harmony and society of the rural families Harmonious development.
