The issue of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" is a major issue related to the overall situation of China’s modernization drive.In each historical period of China’s modernization,the party and the government also put forward a series of targeted strategic measures to solve the "three rural" problems.General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward the rural revitalization strategy for the first time,as an important guideline for "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" in the new era."Rural revitalization" is not only the revitalization of economy and industry,but also a green and livable ecological environment,a prosperous and developing rural culture and a scientific and effective governance system.Farmers as the implementation of this strategy is the main body and the biggest beneficiaries of this group to carry out education activities is the meaning of rural revitalization and the fundamental requirements.This study takes farmer education in the implementation of rural revitalization strategy as the starting point,and studies the farmer education in the new era from the close combination of history,theory and reality.Firstly,it reviews,analyzes and reflects the development process of farmer education from the perspective of history,and extracts the universality and essential rules of farmer education development from the vague and abstract historical phenomena.From the perspective of theory,this paper analyzes the background,new requirements and orientation,nature,function and characteristics of farmer education in promoting the development of agriculture,countryside and farmers in the new era.It also studies a series of difficulties and causes in the implementation of rural revitalization strategy.This study integrated use of questionnaire,interview method,comparative research,the methods of history and logic,with person’s full scale development theory,human capital investment theory,push and pull theory as the research of theoretical basis,combined with the actual case of farmers in the country revitalization strategy implementation education development environment,present situation and existing problems,on the basis of analyzing the cause of draw lessons from foreign farmers education typical practice and experience of enlightenment,it is concluded that thestrategy of rejuvenating our country rural farmers education to carry out the principle,in the implementation of external operation environment optimization and the internal working mechanism innovation path selection.As for the principle of carrying out farmer education,we should always adhere to the principle of "farmers" as the foundation,combining the present with the long-term view,combining the inheritance of experience with development and innovation,and combining the material level with the spiritual level.In the aspect of internal working mechanism innovation,we should set up correct farmer education concept,strengthen the construction of farmer education teachers,promote the diversification of farmer education mode,and pay attention to the scientificity of farmer education content.In order to optimize the external operating environment,it is necessary to define the role of the government,establish correct public opinion guidance,give full play to the exemplary role of rural elites,encourage multiple subjects to actively participate in farmer education,and further improve the system,mechanism and policy system of rural development.
