Since the promulgation of the New Compulsory Education Music Curriculum Standards in 2011,the teaching of national music has been widely concerned by the educational circles.To a certain extent,music teaching in junior middle schools affects students’ sense of identity with national culture.The teaching of appreciation of national music helps students to understand our national music culture in an all-round way,so as to achieve the teaching policy of "educating people with aesthetics" and carry forward our national spirit.In view of the problems and Countermeasures in the teaching of ethnic music appreciation in junior middle schools,this paper investigates and understands the actual situation of the teaching of ethnic music appreciation in some junior middle schools,puts forward problems and countermeasures,and guides teachers and students to create a good environment for the teaching of ethnic music appreciation.At present,there are still many shortcomings in the classroom of national music appreciation in junior middle schools.How to cultivate students’ aesthetic view of national music,understand our excellent national music culture,stimulate students’ patriotism,national self-confidence and pride are the core issues of this study.This paper makes a deep analysis of the topic from multiple perspectives,which consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The main body is divided into four parts: The first part mainly studies the value and background of ethnic music appreciation teaching in junior middle school.This paper expounds the theoretical basis of the teaching of ethnic music appreciation,and makes a thorough study from the teaching value of appreciation teaching,the teaching concept in the new curriculum standard and the characteristics of aesthetic teaching.The second part,through the questionnaire for students and teacher interviews,summarizes the status qua investigation and research,summarizes the junior middle school appreciation teaching situation,and records it.To further understand the actual situation of music classroom,and put forward the problems and the reasons for the existence of the questionnaire and interviews for analysis.The third part,through the analysis of the results of questionnaires and interviews,summarizes four major problems,such as inadequate environment for teachers to create appreciation,lack of aesthetic experience in the process of appreciation teaching,limitations of the selection of materials for appreciation of national music,and so on.The fourth part puts forward the developmental strategies for realizing the teaching of ethnic music appreciation in junior middle school from the aspects of establishing a good appreciation environment,teachers’ teaching,cultivating students’ appreciation interest,attaching importance to students’ experience of ethnic music appreciation,and establishing the cultural construction of campus ethnic music.
