In recent years,physical education in primary and secondary schools in China has been developing continuously,and physical education teaching has been increasingly improved especially after the implementation of the relevant documents issued by the State Council and the Ministry of Education of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Strengthening Youth Physical Education and Strengthening Youth Physical Fitness(Document No.7 of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China {2007})and the Standards of Compulsory Education Physical Education and Health Curriculum(2011 edition)However,in Heze(a city in Shandong Province),because of its remote geographical location,backward economy and numerous students,it is necessary to have a thorough understanding of the current implementation of physical education in public and private junior middle schools.Also,for the specific implementation degree of the "Compulsory Education Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards",to study the necessity of the current development of physical education teaching will count much.This thesis makes a systematic investigation and comparative analysis of physical education teaching between public junior middle schools and private junior middle schools in Heze by means of questionnaires,interviews and on-the-spot investigation.From the aspects of physical education curriculum development,physical education teachers,students and physical education teaching,as well as physical education teaching resources,the following conclusions are drawn: 1.Physical education curriculum development.Private and public junior middle schools would carry out the P.E.lesson in general,but as a matter of fact,in the process of development,physical education curriculum is seriously occupied by other classes,especially in private middle schools,one-sided pursuit of cultural curriculum course achievements is common.In addition,it turn out to be the insufficient execution the curriculum standards for the lack of correct understanding of some physical education teachers.2.The development of teachers.Physical education teachers in private middle schools are inferior to those in public middle schools in terms of degree of learning,and lack experienced senior teachers is also one of the chief cause.The number of PE teachers in private middle schools is small,so the amount of class hours of the teachers per week is large,the salary is not proportional to the workload,and the stability of work is much worse than that in public middle schools.However,the innovative teaching methods of PE teachers in private junior middle schools are better than those in public middle schools.They are deeplyliked by students,and students are very interested in learning sports.3.Students' motivation to learn sports.Private and public junior high school students do not have a correct understanding of the sports curriculum in terms of learning motivation.Students take a one-sided approach to learning sports skills,mostly for the purpose of coping with sports examinations.They do not really understand the importance of learning sports skills and establish the awareness of lifelong sports.4.Physical education resources.Private junior middle schools are better than public junior middle schools in the allocation of sports venues and equipment,especially in the number of indoor sports venues comparing to public middle schools.The leaders of public middle schools do not attach enough importance to sports,and there are few funds for the school sport,resulting in the school sports hardware and software equipment can not normally meet the need of the development of physical education.Based on the above problems,the following suggestions are put forward: 1.Implementing the Standards of Physical Education and Health Courses in depth,carrying out the physical education teaching plan in an orderly manner 2.Strengthening the construction of physical education teachers in middle schools,Introducing high-level talents to teachers' team.3.Mobilizing students' enthusiasm for physical education learning,stimulating students' interests in physical education courses 4.Enriching scientific after-school physical activities and improving students' participation in physical education items.Making full use of teaching resources to enhance the strength of hardware and software. |
