High school is a critical period for students to form their world view,outlook on life and values,and also a critical period for students to choose the direction of their future life development.From the experience of high school education home and abroad,it’s a great idea to start career education for high school students,which is of great importance for their healthy growth and adaptation to the current college entrance exam reform,as well as a demand of this new age.In September 2014,the state council issued the Implementation Opinions on Deepening Reform of Examination and Enrollment System,which is a sign of carrying out the reform of the new college entrance examination.The core gujding ideology of this reform was to increase the students’ choice,so that the students could pay more attention to their interests,characteristics and personality.With the development and implementation of the new college entrance examination system,a new demand is put forward on the goal of high school education,more attention is paid to the students’ diverse development and personality development,and promotion of career education also is emphasized.Not only the innovation mode,the curriculum reform,but also the construction system of career education has been widely practiced in theory and practice,which has acquired some good effects.Career education plays a positive role in helping the students to build scientific study goals,master the knowledge of the high school stage,and establish the sound personality as well as values.This paper probes into the value of career education in high school,high school students and society,and selects specific contents,methods and effects of case study career education in school.In this study,the No.2 middle school in Y district,Guangdong province was selected as a case for practical discussion,and questionnaire survey,interview and literature analysis were adopted for the study.The questionnaire is for the students of grade 3,grade 2018,and the teachers and responsible leaders of the school are interviewed in depth.The interviewees are two management leaders of the school(No.A and B),and five head teachers or psychological teachers of the school(No.C,D,E,F and G).In addition,relevant materials of education were collected,sorted out and analyzed to analyze the status quo and problems of education in the No.2 middle school in Y district,Guangdong province.The study found that students the No.2 middle school in Y district,Guangdong province had insufficient self-cognition,high school students’life goals were not clear,and high school students’ career cognition was confused.Students are looking forward to education courses and activities in the school,and they hope to get guidance in academic development,quality development and career planning.For two years,in the development of series of courses in the No.2 middle school in Y district penetrating career planning consciousness,creating experience activity carrier of cultivating career planning ability and training career mentor to ensure effect of career education aspect to carry out the exploration of career education and has obtained certain result,displays in:help students to do a good job in career planning,let the teacher education return to the "this",enhance the comprehensive strength of the school.But due to reasons such as lack of experience,the school’s career education faces some difficulties in practice:career education courses and lack of system and scientific organization;There was a lack of participation in the teaching career education;Career educator school cooperation dynamics is insufficient;Career education lack of social support.To solve these problems,the author tries to:optimization design career courses and activities,pay more attention to the personalized guidance;Strengthening career education teacher training,build organizational management mechanism;Promoting the cooperation of career educators and developing career education consensus;Develop career education social resources,build Bridges to form joint Suggestions for improvement,and promote the better implementation of career education.
