“Career” refers to an individual’s lifelong career choice of occupation and developmentof the whole life, It also refers to the choice and pursuit for non-occupational leisure activities,as well as the satisfaction in social activities. Super thinks not only the development ofoccupational in the career development, but also the development of the individual self-imagewas emphasized. he emphasizes individual all-round development.The purpose of this study is to review existing children’s career development through therelevant theory and research, summed up the characteristics of childhood career developmentand influencing factors, combined with the current international career education of childrenwithin the scope of practice of a scientific and effective way, to promote the proposed futurechildren’s development of an effective career education advice and actionable way.This study is divided into three parts. The first part is the review on children`s careerdevelopment theories. Super (1990) proposed the lifelong career development view and mapthe career rainbow to express a lifelong career development stage. He was the first scholarspointed out that the development of career began in childhood. He puts forward the nineelements of the children`s career development; According to the theory of Super, Schultheiss(2003,2004,2005) constructs the children’s career development scale (CCDS) and verify theestablishment of the theory; Gottfredson (1981,2002) proposed the theory of careeraspirations, He divides the children’s career aspirations development into four stages. In orderto explore how people select the career on the basis of interest, sex, types and the type ofwork; Lent (1994) proposed the children’s cognitive career development theory, it provides acomprehensive conceptual framework for understanding and interpreting career process;According to the cognitive reasoning method, Howard (2011) puts forward the concept ofchildren’s career choice and implementation model. These theories provide a basis forunderstanding students career development characteristic.The second section briefly describes the career activities carried out in the United States,Taiwan and inland of China. We describe the development of organizational models of careereducation, teaching activities as well as the forms and stages of career development goals.The third part is the key part of this article. We Summarize the previous theory andpractice like that, Career Education on pupils must build a system development model withgovernment, schools, families and society in it; The goal of career education is to cultivatestudents’ positive outlook on life, to gain the understanding of the world of work and toresolve solving skills; career education on pupils is to set the stage development objectives in details and We should pay attention to the function of play role game in promoting students`career.
