Research On The Development Effectiveness And Problems Of Sichuan Independent College After Its Transfer

As an emerging organization,the independent college can grow rapidly,largely because the maternal university provides it with intangible assets such as high-quality brands,mature school-running models,professional setting models,and strong faculty.However,with the further development of independent colleges,the original model of coexisting with the maternal university is no longer applicable.Under this circumstance,The state promulgates policies to guide independent colleges to "decouple" from their parent colleges and universities and turn them into ordinary private undergraduate colleges and universities.However,For independent colleges,“Transfer” means losing the Strong support provided by the maternal university,which is tantamount to taking the rug from under the feet.Therefore,how to develop healthily after the transformation of independent colleges and universities,how to get rid of the dependence inertia on the mother colleges and universities,and how to implement the transformation strategy are the issues studied in this paper.This study is divided into seven parts:The first part is introduction.This part focuses on the reason of this research,research review,research ideas,research theories,research methods and the definition of core concepts.The second part is the background introduction.The first is the policy background,which is the evolution of policies and regulations related to the transfer of independent colleges.Second is the relationship between the independent college and the major external organizations before the transfer,which is the interdependent relationship among the independent college,the maternal university,the government,and the investor,and the resource dependence of the independent college before the transfer.The third part firstly introduces the general situation of the reestablishment of independent colleges in Sichuan province.the transition process is slow,only four independent colleges were successfully transferred.The second is the investigation of the situation and effect of the transfer of four independent colleges in Sichuan Province.In the fourth part,the survey results are summarized and the development results of these independent colleges after the relocation are obtained: the scale of the school has been significantly expanded;the conditions for running schools are gradually improved;the professional settings are more distinctive;the quality of students is generally better;the teacher team independent of the maternal university is gradually established;different from the management model of the maternal university is gradually established.The fifth part introduces the main problems that have existed since the establishment of the independent colleges and the areas that need to be improved continuously: brand building needs to be strengthened;the faculty is relatively weak;the management system is not perfect;the quality of students needs to be improved.The sixth part interprets the development of independent colleges after the transform from the perspective of resource dependence theory.First of all,it introduces the changes of resources brought by the transition to independent colleges.Secondly,it describes the efforts made by independent colleges to adapt to the changes of external environment.Finally,it introduces the environment design of the independent colleges for the better development.Integrate internal resources to promote healthy competition.The last part is the summary and outlook.After the transfer of the independent college,some achievements have been made,but there are also many problems.The development of independent colleges needs not only their own efforts but also the support of the external environment.To promote the healthy and sustainable development of independent colleges,we need to use external resources to achieve resource integration,and we need the joint efforts of the government,society and independent colleges.Since the birth of the independent college,it has been only about 20 years.After the transition,the development time is shorter,Therefore,everything is still new,and everything is still in development with unlimited possibilities.
