In January 2018,the Ministry of Education promulgated the"Ordinary Senior High School Chemistry Curriculurm Standards(2017 Edition)".In the module of "Course Nature and Fundamental Ideas",it puts forward the basic idea of creating real problem situations,changing students' learning styles,and attaching importance to the development of"literacy-based"teaching.PBL teaching mode emphasizes the real problem situation as the starting point,so that learners can solve practical problems with the support of teachers and related materials,which is basically consistent with the new curriculum standard "literacy-based"education concept,Therefore,the application of this mode in chemistry teachin,g has certain practical significance.On the basis of consulting domestic and foreign literatures related to PBL teaching mode and grasping the theoretical connotation of PBL teaching mode,the author analyzed the current situation of PBL teaching mode research and found some problems existing in the application of PBL teaching mode to c.lassroom teaching,such as difficulties in implementing multi-subject evaluation,lack of learning resources,limited group discussion,etc.,As WeChat has the functions of real-time resource sharing and online voting management,the application of WeChat in PBL teaching mode can ensure the effective implementation of multi-subject evaluation,enrich students' learning resources and enhance the flexibility of group discussion.Therefore,the author studies the application of PBL teaching mode supported b,y WeChat in high school chemistry teaching.In the construction of the mode,the curriculum design of PBL teaching mode is divided into three stages:pre-class prepar.ation,in-class teaching and after-clas.s evaluation,and corresponding teaching principles are put forward in each stage.Under the guidance of teaching principles,aiming at the problems that appear in the application of PBL teaching mode in teaching practice,combining with the function of WeChat,highlighting the characteristics of chemistry subject of this model,the classical PBL teaching mode proposed by Barrows is improved.Some links of the classical PBL teaching model are refined and some links such as experimental exploration and multi-subject evaluation are added.Under the guidance of PBL teaching mode supported by WeChat,this paper takes"Elemental Compounds" closely related to the reality of life as an example to carry out teaching design and put it into practice.The results show that PBL teaching mode sup.ported by WeChat can improve students'learning enthusiasm,improve the accuracy and systematicness of knowledge acquisition,develop students' practical thinking and analytical thinking ability,and solve the problems of limited group discussion,lack of learning resources and dif-ficulty in implementing multi-subject evaluation.
