This article inquires the problem about Chemistry teaching of Problem-Based Learning ( short for PBL, founded by Howard S. Barrow, the pioneer of the reform of American medical education, professor of neurosis ), including the determination of teaching aim, choice and design of problems,design of activities for learners and teachers and so on, by way of study of such teaching method as its emergence,development,irnplication,characteristics,teaching procedures, requirements for teachers, practical effect, differences between other teaching methods. Such creative and challenging teaching method as ' Problem-Based Learning is put into practical chemistry teaching in Senior High One, with the aim to check changes of students' results after accepting such teaching method. In addition, I evaluate the degree of students' particication in class, by means of 'the form of evaluation of students' effective participation in chemistry class, which is designed by myself. I draw the following conclusions through study of substantial teaching for one month.1. Problem-Based Learning has great effect on the improvement of students' results of Chemistry in Senior High One.2. Problem-Based Learning can enhance students' participation in Chemistry class.
