Political participation reflects the position of citizens in political life,is the important way to realize their own political rights.The contemporary middle school students innovative consciousness,full of youthful spirit,is the future of the country and the hope of the nation.The political participation consciousness and behavior tendency of middle school students have deep influence on the present and future of our country’s democratic politics.On the one hand,middle school students’ innovation consciousness and a strong desire for social contact,liberal democratic atmosphere with social progress,make the degree of political awareness and attention of them increase than before.But on the other hand,through the author’s teaching practice in middle school of Shijiazhuang in the past 10 years,it is found that the tendency of the contemporary middle school students’ pragmatism is obvious,and the tendency of political apathy appears.Political apathy not only influence the comprehensive development of students themselves,but also the development of democratic politics of our country and the construction of political civilization.Studying the performance,characteristics of the middle school students’ political apathy,analyzing the reasons and putting forward the countermeasures,has important theoretical and realistic significance.To this end,the author uses the convenient condition of working in middle school,selects S middle school,Y middle school in Shijiazhuang as the research sample,as the research sample,through the issuance of questionnaires and interviews,obtain the current situation of middle school students’ political apathy,try to analyze the reasons,and put forward the solution strategy from the perspective of moral education.This study is divided into three parts.The first part selects the Shijiazhuang S middle school,Y middle school as the research sample,around the political attention,political sensitivity and other aspects to investigate.Through the analysis of these cases,sums up the typical performance and characteristics of middle school students’ political apathy.These embodied shallow political cognition,political concern is not high,Political interest is weak,political interest is weak,low sense of political trust and poor political participation ability.Specific characteristics include universality,contradiction,surface attention more,less rational participation,new media become a new platform for political participation.On the basis of this,it is pointed out that the phenomenon and trend of middle school students’ political apathy not only harm their own growth,but also have a negative impact on the whole political stability and the construction of political civilization.The second part analyzes the reasons of political apathy of middle school students.The first is the political quality of middle school students is not stable,includes lacking of political cognitive ability,political attitude is not stable,the value orientation of pragmatism is obvious and so on.The second is the middle school ideological and political education effectiveness is not strong,includes lacking of civic education in teaching ideas,teaching content on the basis of knowledge,teaching methods to single infusion based.Third is the work of moral education in middle school is not enough,mainly to carry out the theme of the practice is not sufficient,daily work specialization level is not high and so on.Fourth is the impact of new media.The diversity and mass of new media distract the students’ attention to politics,and bad information causes middle school students’ values confusion.these made distance from politics.The third part starting from the reasons,giving full consideration to the contemporary middle school students’ practice,puts forward some countermeasures.We should adhere to several rules such as ideological and political education should be into daily life,internal drive combined with extrinsic motivation,focusing on cultivating political participation consciousness.firstly guide middle school students to shape their own political personality.Secondly give full play to the ideological and political course as main channel function,such as improving teachers’ political quality of moral education to be a model for others,setting teaching goals scientifically and fit the students’ practice,organizing teaching content effectively so as close to the student life,teaching methods are rich and varied.Finally,to strengthen the construction of the campus political culture,including material level,system level and spiritual level.To make it an important place to cultivate students’ political quality with fully use of the functions of environment and culture.Citizen’s political participation can promote a country’s political democratization developed constantly,improve the construction of the political system,and maintain political stability.This study can clarify the political apathy of middle school students better,grasp of the ideological and political situation objectively,and guide them to actively participate in political life.For high school students themselves,this can reduce political concept confusion,promote the health-round development,realize the social value at an early date.For the middle school education,it is helpful to the innovation of content and method,so that enhances the actual effect of the middle school moral education.For the state,it is helpful to the expansion of citizens orderly political participation,then enhance the level of participation and quality,promote the development of democratic politics to a higher level,construct a harmonious society.
