Research On A Nostalgia Group To Improve Cognitive Ability Of Mild Cognitive Impairment Of The Elderly

At present,China's population aging trend strengthened,followed by more and more problems.Especially with age,physiological function will recession.Cognitive decline has become a major problem that endangers the health of the elderly.Mild cognitive impairment of the elderly has become a concern of a group.Based on this realistic background,the author decided to work through the group of social work methods involved in mild cognitive impairment of the elderly cognitive ability.The author put the mild cognitive impairment in the elderly of wuhan city as the service object,one-on-one needs assessment to them.The author found that mild cognitive impairment in the elderly memory decline rapidly,lack of attention,lack of communication power.Therefore the author conducted with cognitive stimulation and memory elements as the theme of 8 times group activities.The Nostalgic group is divided into three phases: memories of the past,is the state in order to improve memory.Sensory stimulation is to enhance concentration.Social interaction is to train communication.Finally,based on the summary and service effect,the author got the conclusion: First,the cognitive ability has plasticity.Mild cognitive impairment in the elderly want to improve memory,focus and communication.The group work has a positive impact on mild cognitive impairment in the elderly.Second,the nostalgia group conducive to improving the cognitive ability of them.The author recorded the memory,concentration,and communication skills of the group before the intervention,and recorded the staff after the intervention of the memory,focus and communication.Results show that the memory changes little,but concentration and communication strength has improved significantly.In this paper,the activities of the theory as a guide,the use of group work involved in mild cognitive impairment in the elderly awareness.Although the intervention is effective,but in the group practice process there are still deficiencies.Mainly the special nature of the service object,the lack of diversification of measurement tools and the design of service content.
