Preschool children are in the critical period of growth.Good parent-child relationship plays an important role in establishing a sense of security, enhancing emotional experience, fostering independence, and forming a complete personality. At present, the parent-child relationship of some preschool children in some cities is entangled. There are many hidden problems in this type of family, not only affecting children’s independence, security, socialization, emotional relations, etc.,but also more importantly, endangering the entire family system, and threatening couples’ feelings and family stability. This research will help expand the theoretical and practical research of local structured family therapy. It will help explore the path and strategy of social worker intervention to improve parent-child relationship, provide effective workable ideas for social work intervention among urban preschool children, and develop social work for local families. It is of great significance.Based on a systematic analysis of the causes, manifestations, and impacts of preschool children’s parent-child relationship entanglement, this research uses structured family therapy methods to carry out case work on urban preschool children’s parent-child relationship entanglement problems, and makes theoretical summaries and reflections. The paper consists of four parts. The first part is the introduction.Based on the analysis of the research basis and the research significance,it summarizes the existing research results of the academic community, defines the core concepts of the thesis, and proposes research methods and possible innovations. The second part of the content is to analyze the performance, causes and impact of the entanglement of urban preschool children. The content of the third part is based on the theory of structured family therapies. It selects cases to progress through six individual case interventions and solves the different problems of parent-child relationship entanglement and estrangement in pre-school children. The content of the fourth part is a casework approach and strategy for summing up the problem of entanglement in preschool children in urban areas, and combined with the case involvement process, from the academic level to parent-child entanglement and attachment in preschool children, and to structured family therapy from Western society. The application of theory in the context of Chinese culture was reconsidered. The entanglement of parent-child relationship is manifested as excessive attachment of children to their mothers or fathers, but the specific social work intervention cannot be confined to the entanglement itself. In this process,we must avoid a misunderstanding that the focus of treatment cannot be placed on children. The entanglement of children with their mothers or fathers is merely an image. The deep-seated reason is the poor family structure and the unhealthy interaction behind them.It fully pays attention to the issues of parent-child alienation,husband-and-wife alienation, and joint confrontation behind parent-child relationship entanglement. The fundamental task of social work involvement in the entanglement of preschool children in parent-child relations is not to treat the symptoms themselves, but to improve the entire poor family structure to alleviate or solve the problem of parent-child entanglement. The change in family structure is a process that requires the participation and efforts of family members. In terms of intervention strategies, social workers should strive to create conditions and opportunities for this change in the family structure. |
